Morehall School Mosaic
Vitreous Glass, Smalti fusions and hand made ceramic elements

This mosaic was commissioned by and made for for Morehall School in Folkestone, Kent. It involved enabling the pupils who were aged between 6 and 10 years old, to draw onto pre-rolled out clay.
These were then bisque and glaze fired and incorporated into the mosaic made by Martin.
The children’s brief was to draw things that they felt evoked their school.
The mosaic was unveiled by Michael Howard MP on 21st April 2006
