Mind’ is the UK’s national charity for mental health. Our local branch, ‘Thanet Mind’, runs an open garden project. We were awarded a lottery grant to run a mosaic project at the garden. This community project resulted in a series of ‘Four Seasons’ mosaic paving slabs and a mosaic sundial. More than fifty people took part and a good time was had by all! This was a real communal effort and many of the participants commented on the beneficial and therapeutic effect that working with the craft of mosaics had upon them
